May Is ALS Awareness Month, And The ALS Association is seeking the help of individuals willing to help advance the fight toward a world free of ALS, Also Known As “Lou Gehrig’s Disease.” The ALS Association is dedicated to building hope and enhancing the quality of life for those living with this neuron disease that leaves one paralyzed and with an average life expectancy of 18 months after diagnosis.   The associaiton also is actively looking for new treatments and a cure.  More information about ALS can be found here: http://www.alsa.org/
