The American Red Cross has issued a donation alert for the month of July. The Red Cross is facing an emergency need for blood donors and is urging eligible donors of all types to give now and help avoid delays in lifesaving medical care for patients this summer. Blood donations are being distributed to hospitals faster than donations are coming in. More donations are needed now to help replenish the blood supply.
