The 19th Annual Blue Jay Jazz Festival, "Takin' it Lakeside", will take place in Lake Arrowhead,  August 22nd and 23rd – Arrowhead Lake Association's Tavern Bay Beach Club, and August 24th – Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa. Performers include the Cal State San Bernadino Jazz Ensemble, the LA Quartet, the Yuko Mabuchi Trio, and saxophonist Eric Marienthal, who, in addition to performing with his quartet, will hold a master class for area students. All proceeds support the non-profit Blue Jay Foundation, whose mission is to support music education in the San Bernardino mountain communities.
