The hits just keep coming for MoviePass. And that's not a good thing, since the hits in this case aren’t box office smashes. The company that runs the discount service for movie tickets is now being investigated by the New York State Attorney General for allegations that it misled investors. Officials for the corporate parent of MoviePass say they are aware of the investigation, but that its public disclosures have been complete, timely and truthful — and didn't mislead investors.
