Lake Forest will get update on City Hall

The Lake Forest City Council tonight will hear how various sections of the city’s new City Hall is moving in the direction of opening this fall.

Senior Communications Marketing Analyst Jonathan Volzke says the 72 million dollar campus will have a city hall building, a senior center, community center, and City Council chamber that doubles as a performing arts center.

He says most of the cost of the city hall will be covered by developers’ fees.

The center is under construction at 100 Civic Center Drive, near the Council’s current city hall site.

Tonight’s meeting begins at seven.
