Avoiding heart disease
Each year, 735-thousand Americans have a heart attack.
American Heart Association Orange County Division Board President Dr. Warren Johnston who is St. Joseph Women’s Heart Center Director says obesity, high cholesterol and smoking are major risk factors for cardiovascular disease,.
He says the major signs of a heart attack are chest pain or discomfort, upper body pain or discomfort in the arms, back and neck and shortness of breath.
He, along with heart attack survivor Christine Wessel are the guests on our public affairs show “Collage,” which airs this evening at seven. “Collage,” may also be heard anytime on-line at www.Jazz885.org
