Laguna Hills Council will get update on former Laguna Hills mall
The Laguna Hills City Council tonight will get a status report on the redevelopment of the former Laguna Hills mall.
Mayor Pro-Tem Janine Heft says she’s been told retail will be increased apartments will be decreased, the movie theater will remain and it will have more commercial buildings.
She says the plans include making it a destination site with a place to walk, sit and have lunch. There will be a dog park for little dogs and big dogs.
She says the idea is to bring back what people used to enjoy about the Laguna Hills mall and make it better.
Tonight’s City Council meeting begins at seven.
