San Clemente may send out requests for proposals for hospital facility partnership
The San Clemente City Council tonight may agree to send out requests for proposals for hospital facility partnership.
Mayor Pro Tem Laura Ferguson says it would be for the site of the shuttered MemorialCare Saddleback site, which closed over three and a half years ago.
She says the hope is to have a hospital and emergency room provider come to San Clemente.
In other business, the Council may agree to put up for sale its city-owned property at 100 Avenida Presidio, where city operations used to be.
She says the expected one-time revenue for the property could be between 15 and 17 million dollars.
Tonight’s City Council meeting begins at six.
