Hoos’Gow Day in San Juan Capistrano
Those planning on visiting San Juan Capistrano tomorrow may want to wear western style clothing or else face the fun risk of being thrown into a Hoos’Gow.
Fiesta Association President Jim Taylor says tomorrow is Hoos’Gow Day in San Juan Capistrano. There are two jails that are driven around town to shopping centers, businesses and schools. Those who aren’t wearing western style clothing may get arrested and thrown into a Hoos’Gow. Their bail is the purchase of a button, badge or garter. The bail proceeds go towards putting on the Swallows Day Parade.
The 61st Annual Swallows Day Parade is Saturday. It begins at 11 in the morning in downtown San Juan Capistrano.. Details may be found on-line at www.SwallowsParade.com
