Police end search of landfill for Southern California baby

Police have called off the search of a huge Southern California landfill where they believe the body of a 6-month-old boy is buried.

The Culver City Police Department said an exhaustive investigation was unable to narrow down a location where the remains of Jacsun Manson may be located at El Sobrante Landfill in the Riverside County city of Corona.

Jacsun's parents, Kiana Williams and Adam Jackson, each pleaded not guilty last month to a charge of child abuse resulting in death, and are scheduled for another court appearance Thursday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Authorities allege the parents were doing drugs in a motel room on Dec. 31 and later found Jacsun dead, put his body in a suitcase and tossed it into a dumpster.
