Orange County Toll Roads Fas Trak customers have been mailed stickers

The Toll Roads of Orange County has mailed out 700-thousand free sticker transponders to Fas Trak accountholders to replace the hard-case transponders currently in use

Transportation Corridor Agencies Media Relations Manager Sarah King says you may want to keep the hard-case switchable transponder on your windshield to be eligible for carpool discounts. And you can have both transponders mounted on your windshield. In this situation, the switchable transponder will be the one used for toll charges.

King says beginning on Monday, the Toll Roads will eliminate the monthly account maintenance fee for Fas Trak accounts, which is a potential savings of nearly 50 dollars a year.

She says sticker transponders may not be moved from car to car. Once it’s mounted inside the windshield, it can’t be moved or adjusted.
