Healthcare near you

It isn’t happening everywhere yet _ and won’t be for a while. But it’s getting to the point where going to see a doctor may be as easy as going to your neighborhood drugstore. That’s because drugstores are expanding the kind of care and support they offer. CVS Health is offering the latest example, saying it will expand the use of a new store format that can provide dietitians and help people monitor chronic diseases. Rival Walgreens is also toying with the idea of setting up primary care clinics at its stores. Both chains say by having health care closer to people, it can help keep people healthier _ and cut the need for people to be hospitalized for much more expensive treatment.
