Becoming a Community of Anchors in Suicide Prevention

In 2019 the Orange County Health Care Agency reported that the suicide rate in Orange County has been increasing every year since 2000. The highest rates were in coastal cities, including cities here in south Orange County like Dana Point and Laguna Beach.

How can we engage with a weighty topic in a way that supports our friends and neighbors? Mental Health advocate Ali Borowsky from Find Your Anchor joins us for an important conversation about suicide prevention.

People with depression get older, too. It’s never too late to meet them where they’re at, and who doesn’t want something a little more personal and heartfelt. To be seen and heard.
