A study commissioned by Orange County found that being supported through Project Kinship significantly reduced the likelihood that people who were formerly incarcerated would become incarcerated again. Student filmmakers Jacinda Mallari and Shelby Gleason from LoFI (Ladies of Film & Media Industry) join the show to discuss advocating for female and LGBTQIA film and media makers in predominantly male fields.

The Associated Student Government does more than plan campus events. Saddleback College ASG President Gloria Lee discusses ASG's advocacy efforts meeting with local representatives in Washington DC to address the top issues students are facing, such as basic needs, homelessness and affordable housing, DACA and the Dream Act, and foster youth.
