The Associated Student Government does more than plan campus events. Saddleback College ASG President Gloria Lee discusses ASG's advocacy efforts meeting with local representatives in Washington DC to address the top issues students are facing, such as basic needs, homelessness and affordable housing, DACA and the Dream Act, and foster youth. CA State Senator Catherine Blakespear, 38th District (representing San Diego and Orange Counties) joins Karyn Bower and Nicholas Reese to discuss redistricting, making the transition from local to state government, and the current issues that are important to residents in District 38.  

As the new CCCAA state champions, Saddleback College women's soccer team captains Sammy Villasenor, Alyssa Sims, and Olivia (Liv) Wynn are now familiar with what it takes to succeed on the field and in the classroom. As the team prepares for a new season, Villasenor, Sims, and Wynn are joined by Coach BJ McNicol to discuss the realities of being a student athlete, the upcoming season, and the new men's soccer team.
