Irvine will have a grand opening of Portola Springs Park
Irvine officials invite the public tomorrow for the grand opening of the city’s 12th community park called Portola Springs Community Park.
City Public Affairs and Communication Director Craig Reem says the park has many amenities including a multipurpose room, expansive patio area, two classrooms along with soccer fields, Pickle ball courts and tennis courts.
The 32 acre park also features a nature themed playground, native garden and Cultural display in the Native American Wing.
Reem says tomorrow’s grand opening is scheduled at four in the afternoon at 900 Tomato Springs. It will then be open to the public Monday through Friday between nine in the morning and nine at night and Saturday, between nine in the morning and ten at night and Sunday between noon and six in the evening.
