San Juan Capistrano will have simulated Native American Village

The San Juan Capistrano City Council has agreed to move forward with the Putuidem Village project in the Northwest Open Space.

Councilman John Taylor says the Council agreed to have the plans go to final construction drawings then out to bid.

He says the simulated Native American Village will be constructed on a two acre parcel across from the dog park.  It will have an amphitheater along with reconstructed huts and artifacts and exhibits.

Taylor anticipates the project breaking ground sometime next year.
