Ending Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery in Orange County

January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. In this episode of OC In Focus, Mark Lee from the Women's Transitional Living Center is our guest. Lee shares some of the common misconceptions around human trafficking, why youth in the U.S. are one of the most vulnerable communities, types of trafficking that occur here in the OC, and how to spot trafficking in our neighborhoods.

We also discuss why it's important for recovery to be survivor-driven, the role of community in prevention and recovery, and what the world might look like if we end human trafficking.
