Caring For The Differently Abled During COVID-19

One of our most vulnerable communities are those who have developmental or intellectual disabilities. This week on OC In Focus we’re joined by Dr. Glenn Motola, the CEO of Reimagine, a nonprofit that serves disabled persons here in Orange County, and Reimagine’s Program Coordinator, Savitha Creel.

Dr. Motola and Creel explain why confusion is a major problem in communicating the pandemic to the disabled, how programs and services have shifted to virtual platforms, and how they are beginning to reintegrate in-person programming.
