TV news helicopter struck by object over Los Angeles

A Los Angeles television news helicopter made a precautionary landing after it was struck in flight by an object that may have been a drone. KABC-TV reports its AIR7 HD helicopter was flying near downtown Wednesday evening at an altitude of about 1,100 feet when the crew heard and felt the strike. Helicopter reporter Chris Christi says they initially assumed it was a bird strike, but when they landed they found dents and holes.
